Remote access to MySQL and PostgreSQL

Votes: 0

Our Linux hosting plans support remote access to MySQL and PostgreSQL databases which can be configured via the control panel.

External Access must be assigned for each login that requires it. By Default only local access is granted.

In this way you can also restricted access to specific IP addresses.

Note that hosted databases are intended for use with hosted web sites only. Applications that require continuous remote access are not permitted. Remote access should only be used to perform periodic updates or for remote data management via applications like mySQL administrator or mySQL Query Browser.
